Seaton Common

Seaton Common, home to the Teesmouth National Nature Reserve

hosts some wonderful birds, including Short Eared Owls, which hunt on the wing in daylight.

But this wasn’t the only wonder. In the far distance were Taiga Bean Geese.

And in the sky a wedge of Whooper Swans flew over, heading for the coast.

Finally Wigeon were on the waters.
