No soup and one starling…

The best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men
Gang aft agley.

And so the scheduled Soup and Starling experience was blown away by an Atlantic storm.


Instead of murmurations of Starlings at the RSPB reserve at Saltholme, the high winds gave a few passers by.

In the far distance, wisely on the ground were a flock of Barnacle Geese.
