Dales Dalliance

This blog normally sticks to  54.5, -1, but occasionally it roams. This time a short trip to the Yorkshire Dales, courtesy of Bolton Abbey.

A fine walk along the bank of the River Wharfe gives fine views of the Abbey and Autumn.

Westworth woods runs alongside the rive, and the trees are magnificent in their golden leaves.

Cascades of waterfalls are everywhere. The moisture keeps plenty of moss going.

The bridge by the Cavendish Pavillion Cafe straddles the Wharfe.
