Becalmed on a Bank Holiday

The new Beacon at Redcar overlooks a wind turbine farm offshore. Becalmed, the turbine doesn’t move, but catches the late sun on Whit bank holiday.

On the shoreline are a flock of oystercatchers.

Further down the coast at Saltburn, the cliffs reflect the sun well.

They are not the only cliffs to catch the light, for it’s Hanami (花見) at Highcliff Nab .
