Midsummer full moon

We missed the Eclipse of the moon, due to 10/10ths cloud.  Instead here’s a picture taken the day before of moonrise over Guisborough Woods that straddle the 300m hill delineating the Moor.

The hill is 300m high, which makes it close to the zenith for the full moon this time of year, given its midsummer.

The moon is late rising, then appears to roll along the top of the hill before sinking down, obscured by the hill.
