Clay Bank (East)

Your humble blogger is also a runner, and completed the Clay Bank (East) Fell race. After the race, a trio of cheeky birds were asking for tidbits in the car park overlooking the panorama of the Teesside plains and Cleveland Hills.

First, a Blue Tit.

In the second picture we have a Robin and a Chaffinch.

Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

Alas, I didn’t bring any food that would suit them. Next year when the race is on, I’ll remember to bring a little something.
