A flock of seagulls

No, it’s not the 80’s Brit pop combo with the impressive haircuts, but what follows a tractor when it plows up a field this time of year.  Having ploughed the earth, the Black Headed Gulls settle down to find any worms they can.

Further into the deciduous woods lies a path, the haunt of occasional runners, and bushes replete with berries.

This fruit attracts many birds, and fortunately, a bullfinch leaves the safety of the trees for a drink in a muddy depression on the path.

Further off into the canopy is a Long Tailed Tit.

Meanwhile, back at Cafe Twich, Great Tits are feeding on the sunflower seeds.
