A new visitor

In Lake Wilton, there’s a new visitor.  It’s a Cormorant, hiding on a small islet, together with some Mallard Ducks.  I shall christen said rocks in the local dilect as Wiltonholme

Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo)

Later on, our new visitor moved around Wiltonholme to spread his wings in the autumn sunshine.

The Mallards seem undaunted by the Cormorant’s sharp beak and Jurassic appearance.  I doubt the Lake’s fish feel the same.
